Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band startet the Wrecking Ball tour with an intimate show at the Apollo Theater last night.

Tried to create a kind of a “Best Of” playlist of Springsteen’s 21st century albums. But from his five studio albums only 13 songs made it on the list:

To my suprise I rediscovered “The Rising” and “Devils & Dust”. Six songs from the post 9/11 album and four from the second - almostly acoustic - album made it on the list. The last three songs are form the last three albums… enough said ;)

But there were two remarkable bonus tracks:

The Ghost of Tom Joad /w Tom Morello
How Can A Poor Man Stand Such Times And Live

and

the live document “Live In Dublin” which shows the exceptional quality of Springsteen - Live Music!
Hopes had been high that the new album will get him back on rock and not pop, but…

So let’s wait for great shows Furthern On Up The Road.

No - I don’t want to talk about Stings music!
But his free iPad app 25 Years is a great example on how to use the possibilities of the new media.

Um etwas Live-Gefühl auch ins eigene Büro zu holen, steht das Bürokonzert im Internet als Video oder Audio bereit. Und als Draufgabe kann es auch als Podcast abonniert werden.
